Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Arrival at hotel check-in and lunch Afternoon, departure by car to reach the suspension bridge. Once crossed, the trail runs along rice paddies and sugar cane fields and passes through isolated villages inhabited by black Thais. Stop in an old house on stilts to discover local habits and customs. Visit a duck farm and stop at the impressive bamboo watermills, a feature of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. The guide will share his knowledge of the farming techniques used before reaching the starting point of the bamboo raft ride. Peaceful and relaxing ride on the Cham River to appreciate the tranquility of the site from the raft (depending on weather conditions) Drive back to the Hotel Dinner and enjoy a quiet night in the Reserve
Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the incredible view of the Reserve. Departure by minivan for the village of Pho Doan (visit the local market of Pho Doan every Thursday and Sunday morning). Start of the hike by following the paths through the rice fields and the jungle to reach the Hieu waterfall . You will be welcomed for lunch at a guest house next to the waterfall. Afternoon, free time to rest, swim at the waterfall (depending on the season) or explore the charms of this traditional village. Return by minivan to the lodge and free time to relax in the room. Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the calm and the superb view. Check out. Hike following trails through espaliered rice paddies. You will discover the daily life of the inhabitants of Pu Luong. Then you will reach the Doi cave (the bat cave), the largest cave in the Nature Reserve (depending on weather conditions) Lunch and free time to relax before departing for Ninh Binh, the first Vietnamese capital in the 10th century. Arrival and check in. Dinner and free time to walk around and enjoy the tranquility of the place.
Breakfast at the hotel. Bike tour in the middle of the karstic peaks to reach 2 temples of the first two emperors from the 10th century to the Old Capital city Hoa Lu. On the spot, walking until summit of Ma Yen mountain to visit the king ‘s tomb dating from the 10th century and admire the panorama from the top. Local lunch. Arrival in Trang An and start of the walk by boat in the middle of the karstic peaks to contemplate the beauty and appreciate the serenity of the site. Return to the hotel and free time (possibility to join the family to prepare dinner ) and night on site.
Breakfast and check out. Then transfer in the direction of the pontoon to board the shuttle which takes you to the main boat Registration and welcoming drink on the boat during the safety briefing before lunch. During this time, the boat moves away from the tourist area to sink into Lan Ha Bay , an extension of the bay from Halong . The cruise passes by several small islets and in the middle of hundreds of karstic peaks. Visit of one cave in double kayaks and stop to swim in the waters clear of the bay. Back on the boat to relax and enjoy the view while drinking a cocktail on the upper deck. You can join the cooking class orchestrated by the cooks . Stopping the cruise in a place calm for dinner and spend the night .
Early morning to enjoy a Tai Chi class and light breakfast. Visit Viet Hai village located in Cat Ba National Park. 30-minute bike ride to discover beautiful landscapes and a traditional village of North Vietnam. Back on the boat to relax, check out and pay your bill. Brunch while the boat sails leisurely towards the port. End of the cruise and transfer back to Hanoi. Tour ends.
